Technical Support
A. Subfloor Test

The subfloor for rubber flooring shall be dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound. Before installation, the environment should be tested. The indoor temperature should between 15 and 30 ℃. Not advised to install below 5℃ or above 35℃. The air humidity should between 40% to 75%. The moisture should be less than 3% when the underlayment is cement or concrete. The strength of the subfloor should not below the concrete strength standard C-20. The surface hardness should not be less than 1.2 MPa. and the subfloor must be flat to a tolerance of 2mm in 2 linear meters, otherwise levelling compound should be used for smoothing.

B. Subfloor Prepare

Grind the subfloor with grinding machine, clean the floor with industrial vacuum cleaner. The subfloor should be free of dust, solvent, paint, wax, oil, old adhesive and other extraneous materials. The surface should not be empty, sanding, cracked, otherwise we need to patch it. We apply "Uzin" primer PE360 for absorbent substrates(screeds and concrete...),and PE260 for non-absorbent substrates(terrazzo, ceramic tiles, marble...). The detail according to manufacturer's specification.

C. Revelling Compound

After the primer dried, mix the levelling compound and water, the ratio according to the specification, Stir the compound sufficiently with mixer, and pour the levelling componnd onto the floor, spread it with the smoothing rake, aerate it with spike rollers to avoid the bubble surface and the height difference. After the work finished, the site should be closed immediately, no walking within 10 hours, and avoid heavy impact within 20 hours. 1-2 days later, when the self-levelling dried thoroughly, the ground is available for subsequent installation of nora rubber floorings.

D. Material Layout

Whether it is sheet or tile product, the materials should be layout on the site for 24 hours allowing it stable in the temperature and humidity of the site. Keep the arrows in the same directionon which is on the back of the floor. when install the sheet products, normally the seams are to be double cut, allow at least 3cm overlap at the seam area because one edge has a taper. This taper must be removed when the seam is cut completely. when install the tiles, lay seams together naturally.

E. Adhering the Floor

noraplan 2mm sheets use uzin adhesive KE2000S, norament 3.5mm tiles use uzin 2-component polyurethane adhesive KR430(mix well according to the ratio). before adhering, clean the ground and the back of the floorings, spreading the adhesive with the proper notch trowel, allow it to dry to a semi-wet condition, the adhesive must transfer to your finger to the touch, then place the floorlings into the adhesive one by one. Roll slowly with a 50 kg roller. First breadthwise, then lengthwise. Hand roll seam area gently with hand roller.

F. Clean and Maintain

After installation, We clean nora rubber floorings according to the manufacturer's recommendation. Regular cleaning with suitable products, "Sunrise", "3M" products or equivalent is recommended. It is strictly prohibited to place high concentration solvents such as toluene, banana oil and strong acids and alkali on the floor. Do not use improper tools or sharp tools or else the floor surface will be damaged.
